Any sparkies? Advice appreciated
Does this look like a fair quote? An unwanted secret santa gift offered as thanks.

1. Install new 10.00mm twin and earth supply for the new range cooker in the kitchen.
2. Install cable from the small 2 way fuse board to an isolation switch to be installed in cupboard close to the cooker and then connected into the back of the new cooker.
3. Installed new 50amp M.C.B in the 2 way fuse board to control the cooker circuit

Seems reasonable how much cable is needed ?

Re: Any sparkies? Advice appreciated
Approx 2 to 3 metres. Wasn't expecting actual help, just a cunting for being "nothing to do with West Ham" and maybe a "wipe your nob on the plug". 8-9pm is obviously the time to post when you need actual help. Cheers fellas.

At a guess a bullseye for materials, 200 sheets labour for 1/2 a days work with stops for tea and garibaldis. 20% off for readies sounds reasonable.

Sounds good.
Just make sure you get a FENSA certifcate when the job has been done, otherwise your gaff will be impossible to sell on.

No. Especially someone who is already vat registered i.e. pulling over £83+K pa through his business... you don't tend to turn 7G a month fitting sockets...

10mm and 50A looks like overkill unless the kit is very substantial...

Taiwanese extension lead from down the market.

If it burns out just buy a bigger one.

Repeat until the cable gets not too hot to handle after it's been used.
